Thoughts on learning rhythm
Recently I’ve picked up a cajon which I plan to use for adding parts to my acoustic covers and originals. But this has made me a lot more interested in learning to hear drum parts. Luckily, youtube is a great resource for this. Just by watching a few drum covers to my favorite songs, I can see what the different kinds of sounds are made by the different parts of a drumkit.
